Professional Division Audition for the 2026 Summer & 2026-2027 School Year

Time 1:30-2:45 PM

Location: The Raleigh School of Ballet

$35 audition fee

The Professional Division is a scholarship program for qualified students with career goals in dance. The purpose of the program is to give the student the necessary training and guidance to achieve their goals. Professional Division students are required to follow the recommendations and guidelines set up by the faculty for the Professional Division. Many Professional Division alumni have gone on to dance in professional companies like American Ballet Theatre, Martha Graham Dance Company, Carolina Ballet, and New York City Ballet among many others.

 

• Eligibility: Students must be at least 9 years old by September 1st, 2026 or have completed the equivalent to RSB B1 class level work (three years of classical ballet training) by the end of the 2025/2026 school year.
• Admission to the Professional Division is based on physical facility, emotional maturity, movement quality and training potential. In addition, students must have a strong basic technique appropriate to their age.

 

Deadline to register for the audition February 21st, 2026.
