Dear RSB Community,

All families are welcome at RSB and we are proud of the diversity of the school.

In an effort to support all our students we are updating our dress code to provide more options that will give our dancers the opportunity to align their tights and shoes to their skin tone.  All details from the top of the head to the end of the toes are paramount in ballet and these changes will better reflect the dancers’ whole bodies. With this update, we feel that we are better able to reflect our diversity and embrace the art form that is more than one color.

Girls of color may opt for “flesh tone” tights and shoes that complement each other.
